Leaving 99 is an original rock band that writes and performs music with
the vision of presenting the message of "true hope" to an unsettled
world.
This four piece band features "strong, yet, melodic" female vocals combined with the power of a "driving" guitar sound. Their style is a combination of 70's hard rock influences mixed with 90's "alternative" overtones. Leaving 99 plays a wide variety of venues and events that range from church services and functions, to youth events, coffee shops, and secular clubs as well. The band also plays many festivals including Wichita Riverfest, the Kansas State Fair, and other area town festivals. The members of the band are Doug Ginther(guitar, vocals), Lisa Ginther(lead vocals), Mike Nichols(drums), and Andrew Weaver(bass). Leaving 99 is a band of "real" people with a "real" purpose. |
